“Gather ‘round my children, for the story is about to start.” The elderly man sat in the center of a one-room house. Four teenagers were soon sitting by him, murmuring quietly to themselves. Rumors of those who are now dead, and the fights between both good and evil.
“ Children, as most of you know or at least should know is the story of Dusk Fire. The story of our planet and it’s long gone protector Mar.
“The world has just been created by the Dusk and Flame elementals. They had been arguing over the name of the new world, and eventually brought themselves into war. The chaos and destruction had wiped out nearly half the planet, animals and humans alike. Only the dusk and dawn brought temporary relief to the fighting. The fighting had gone on for eons before they finally decided on one thing, to repopulate the planet with beings again. The elves and sages were the first of them, then angels and demons alike. They soon organized the lands and who belonged where. When it was all situated, the races lived peacefully.
“Although, after a while the elves had found the destructive power of guns and a spiritual energy of dark aura. The Dusk elementals had left these lying around to see what would happen, and in the process destroyed the peace they had between the Fire elementals. Only because of their stupid notions, the war started over again, but they weren’t the only one’s fighting. Angels and demons were at war, each accusing one another for doing something. Then following the elves went after the sages for being too powerful in their opinion.
“The elementals and races were at one another’s throats, mass murder being committed. The dead seemed to be never ending, until the birth of Mar that is. It was said that his mother was tragically lost in the birth, for he was much too big. The only way he would survive is to cut him from his mother’s womb and hence he was born. His father was banished into the lands of the lost shortly after our former baron gained power, and then on he grew up with no real parents. A devious man named Koryne before the exile had taken Mar away from his father and all seemed lost in the world. Mar had grown up in a different name and what is was never found, for nobody survived that long except the once living dragon beings. These beings were once great and powerful but before long their own greed led to their own downfall, Mar was a rider of one of these beasts until it was proven that they were forced evil. The light never shone until each and every one of them were killed, all but one has survived to this day, as it was said that that egg was to be found by either a descendant of Mar or someone with the purest of heart and soul. This is what intertwines with the elemental problem; the Fire elementals had created these beings in order to get back at the Dusk elementals for creating guns and dark aura. What has been said for many generations is that somehow Mar had overthrown Koryne and fought the elementals never quelling fighting. He was also said to have banished them to the Mountain pass of Destiny in the southeast. The egg, although was never found and said to only be myth. The elves, sages and all the mystical beings retreated to the outskirts of the city of Jaffen, where they haven't been heard from since. Humans cultivated Jaffen and yet are ignorant to the threats of demons and all other supernatural beings all around them. The decendant of Mar is in hiding and the oracle is the only one with the knowledge of his or her name.”
